About
Sylvan Lake Youth Services is a municipally and provincially funded youth focused department within Town of Sylvan Lake Family & Community Support Services. We provide social preventative programs and services for school-aged children and youth. The focus of all of our programs is to collaborate with community partners (ie. schools, faith-based organization, community agencies, business) to : promote positive peer relationships, provide mentoring and leadership opportunities; model positive, responsible behaviour; promote educational success; enhance social supports and relationships; provide a safe place where youth can feel empowered and valued.

Program Description
Sylvan Lake Youth Services offers a variety of programs and services to children and youth including:
Flipside Youth Centre - After school and evening drop-in programs
Ment to Matter - In-school mentoring program
School's Out Day Camps/Summer Day Camps - full day camps
Leaders-in-Training - youth leadership program
Stress Busters - In-school one-on-one and group stress-management program
Alberta Health Services Community Helpers Program - suicide prevention and mental health program
