3. Empower: Give opportunities to empower other youth in our community to start their anti-racism education. Create initiatives for
youth to take action on racial justice issues.

Region

Edmonton & Area.

Program Description

1. Provide educational resources that are distributed within schools and online
2. Host anti-racism conferences for youth
3. Provide afterschool sports and arts-based programming. We are currently working in a predominantly racialized junior high school, providing opportunities for them to try sports like tennis and netball, as well as providing opportunities for them to be proud of their culture/ identity through art activities. Students get the opportunity to be proud of their language, food, cultural clothing, etc. and to incorporate such identities into their pieces. This initiative was created to address the financial and transportation barriers a lot of the youth at this school face.
