Program Description
The Pregnant and Parenting Teen Program provides information and support to pregnant and parenting teens. They offer support groups for young moms and dads, as well as for breastfeeding, and expecting mothers. They provide peer education, counseling, one on one support, health & nutrition services, prenatal care and several opportunities for improving skills with programs such as: Cooking Circle, Babies Best Start, Family Literacy, Smoking Cessation & Reduction, Parenting Education, Prenatal classes and Child Safe First-Aid. They have an on-site nursery that is staffed by community volunteers and two full-time Early Childhood Educators. They also have access to an outreach school. Open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
