About
Seva Food Truck is a not for profit organization that is focused on improving the strength of the community at large by nourishing and empowering it's youth. We do this through coordinating extracurricular meal and mentorship programs aimed at teaching youth leadership skills while ensuring they are receiving the proper nutrition to perform. Our programs have traditionally been run in areas with a higher prevalence of lower income families in order to help those youth who tend to have the least amount of opportunity to grow. Currently, we run our program within a few different schools in Edmonton and have recently started to expand our programming out to Calgary.

Program Description
In our after school meal and mentorship program, we teach leadership and life skills through games, sports, speaker series, and workshops. We hope to teach logic/reasoning skills though playing games and teamwork skills through playing sports . For our speaker series and workshops, topics include but are not limited to goal setting, the basics of personal finance, and communication/soft skills. As well, we provide our mentees with meals to ensure they are receiving the proper nourishment to succeed.
