About
The EMS Cadets started in September of 2008. The program is the developed and run by Advanced Care Paramedic Doug Christian. The goal of the EMS Cadets program is to bring youth into the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and help them understand the importance of community volunteerism.

Program Description
Our training is provided by paramedics working in the field using real-life experience to make the training as realistic as possible. Members are trained and tested using high fidelity simulation techniques that are common in professional training. Our youth then use their skills to provide first aid standby at community events.
