Program Description

Camrose Boys and Girls Club provides a wide variety of social, recreational and leadership activities for children and youth.

Kid Way Program:

Kid Way is a social, recreational, educational membership after-school program for children in grades 1 - 5. Kid Way offers complimentary transportation from school to club, complimentary snack, recreation equipment, noncompetitive sporting activities, leadership opportunities, educational activities, arts and crafts, theme parties, fun and games, homework help, conflict resolution, incentive program, reduced summer program fee, early summer registration, and more! Kid Way operates Monday - Thursday 3PM - 6PM from the beginning of October until the end of May.

Youth Mentor Program:

This program offers mentorship training, mentorship / leadership opportunities within our Kid Way Program to youth in grades 6 - 8. Youth also participate in special activities and are given opportunities to celebrate successes.

Keystone Program:

Keystone is a leadership program for youth grades 7 -12. It focuses on 5 key areas: Leadership, Teamwork, Healthy Choices, Service to Club and Community, and Learning for Life. Youth also participate in: other social, recreation, education and leadership opportunities; games; arts and crafts; physical activities; fundraising; volunteer opportunities; community engagements; special events; and trips! Keystone is offered Mondays and Wednesdays, 6PM until 8PM from the beginning of October until the end of May.

Summer Program:

Our Summer Program exists to provide children grades 1 - 5 with a variety of fun, meaningful and unique summer experiences throughout Central Alberta that they may not otherwise have. We offer themed weeks and daily trips that fit with the theme of the week.

Volunteer Program

We offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities starting with Grade 9 students through adulthood and senior years, that promote personal development and growth, build confidence and self worth, increase experience, build successes, expand resumes, provide sense of belonging and purpose, while contributing to an enhanced experience for the children and youth served through Camrose Boys and Girls Club.

Special Events

We offer or participate in special events for the community annually including our very popular Community Haunted House, Arts in the Park, Kinsmen BBQ Showdown, etc.
