Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society is committed to building on the strengths of Aboriginal children, youth and their families to enable them to develop spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally so they can walk proudly in both the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities.

Program Description
Our Programs and Services include: Kokomish and Iskwew House group homes, Orenda House Apartment Complex, Coyote Kids Weekly Program, Coyote Pride Elementary and Junior High Mentoring Program, Nitotemak Foster Care, Healthy Families Program, White Cloud Headstart, Wind Dancers Youth Program, Aboriginal Resource Centre, Sacred Circle Family Intervention Program, Community Parents Program, Aboriginal Parent Link Centre, Seven Generations Program, Journeys to Success Adult Employment Program, Nikihk Aboriginal Housing First, and Kahkiyaw Child and Family Services Program. And community programs such as Monthly Soup and Bannock Lunches, Wichitowin Family Nights, Aboriginal Awareness Training, Elder Breakfasts, and many more!
Coyote Pride is a mentoring (“buddy”) program for Aboriginal pre-teens in grades 7 to 9. Youth participate in cultural activities with mentors. Mentors encourage youth to have a healthy lifestyle though traditional teachings and positive role model behavior. Coyote Pride matches Aboriginal youth and Aboriginal mentors who emphasize the importance of education and cultural values. Groups are established at each school that is a part of the program.
