At VOICE, we’re building a community of champions dedicated to ending gender-based violence. Our team of athlete ambassadors work with schools, sports teams, athletics organizations and other community groups to increase awareness and understanding of gender-based violence, and discuss the intersections of race, culture, sexual orientation, and disability among other factors. By sharing personal stories, connecting through mentorship opportunities, and education sessions, we build trust with students and young athletes, creating space for open and honest dialogue. Most importantly, we equip young people with the information and tools they need to educate their peers, challenge deeply rooted social norms, and inspire change.
