Catholic Social Services
Catholic Social Services provides a wide variety of services to individuals and families in Edmonton, Central Alberta and North Central Alberta Region. We provide services for children and families, new immigrants and refugees and people with disabilities.
The McDaniel Youth Program provides 3 years of one on one mentorship to youth between the ages of 14 and 19 who have a diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. The main goal of the program is to assist youth in transitioning to adulthood and adult systems as well as to learn to cope with their disability. The agency also has volunteers which mentor youth who are in Children’s Services care and reside in a group home operated by the agency.
