Alberta Mentorship Program
About
The Alberta Mentorship Program is an Edmonton non profit that focuses on empowering youth to become leaders through community, mentorship, authentic connections, and service. The Alberta Mentorship Program’s primary purpose is to connect members with service opportunities across schools, organizations and community partners that not only help them grow and develop but also give back to the community. Members mentor and provide support to students from elementary to high school in the Edmonton region with several partner schools such as McNally, Wagner, Strathcona High School, Harry Ainlay, Lynwood Elementary, and Johnny Bright.
Program Description
The services our members provide range from presenting leadership workshops, providing logistical support for large school leadership events, and mentoring groups of youth. The Alberta Mentorship Program has helped out with events like the Alberta Student Leadership Conference, the Junior High Leadership Conference, the Canadian Student Leadership Conference, Bikethons at McNally, Wagner and Scona as well as community service events such as the Festival of Trees.
