About

A word that had significant meaning to Thelma Chalifoux was the Cree term, Otipemisiwak, which means “being your own boss.” It is vital for our students to be 21st century learners. This will allow them to become critical thinkers who can collaborate, problem solve and adapt to whatever comes their way. Students who take the initiative to advocate for themselves and others will help bring the term, Otipemisiwak to life at Thelma Chalifoux School.'
