About

Mentors Matter is part of Hull Services continuum of services. We match volunteer mentors with young people who can benefit from having a positive relationship with a supportive adult. The young people who receive services through Hull have experienced adversity in their lives. For some of our young people, a volunteer mentor is the only adult in their life who is not paid to be involved with them. One caring individual can have a very powerful and life-long impact on a young person.

Why mentor through Hull? Think about one person that made you feel valued and supported, that helped with your self-confidence and growth and saw potential in you. You can be that person for someone. It feels good to do good. Your time, perspective and skills can influence a young person’s path and future. Throughout your involvement, our team at Hull Services will be there to provide support and guidance. You will have access to Hull’s amazing team of professionals including training and ongoing support.
