About
The Boys & Girls Club of Fort Saskchewan provides a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life. Our services include Out of School Program for ages 6-12, which offers cooking classes, homework/tutorial, yoga, rockwall, swimming lessons and more, Leadership, Teen Programs ages 13-17, Youth and Family Counseling, support and education groups. We also provide a shuttle service that delivers participants from community schools to the Club and then home when the program closes.

Program Description
The Be A Buddy program believes that positive role models and mentors are crucial for children and youth to have happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Self-esteem and confidence are important qualities for children to have to be healthy and well balanced. Our vision is to provide mentors to teach, guide and empower Fort Saskatchewan's youth and provide activities and opportunities to the children to inspire, educate and benefit their well-being and to provide our volunteers with meaningful, supportive and rewarding volunteer experiences.
