About

Boys and Girls Club of Whitecourt & District’s mission is to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life. We provide children and youth with opportunities for building life skills, peer relationships, leadership skills and a sense of community in a safe environment with the support of adult mentors.

The Whitecourt Teen Centre provides a free after-school drop in service for local youth offering a safe, secure and fun environment for teens to get together and hang out. Teens also have the opportunity to participate in a range of programs and activities that may otherwise be unattainable to them. These programs are developed to educate and to build teens self esteem and sense of self worth as well as strengthen ties to the community.
