Upcoming Webinars of Interest – Where are All of the Men? & Mentor Screening and Youth Protection

Mentoring Webinars

Two topics that AMP regularly hears are of importance to mentoring organizations are how to engage male mentors and how to appropriately screen all mentors. Two upcoming webinars, each hosted by mentoring organizations in the U.S., address these issues.
These mentoring webinars are highlighted below –

MANY (the Mid-Atlantic Network of Youth & Family Services) is hosting a webinar on March 26th about finding and engaging male volunteers. They share the following description of the webinar:
Finding and engaging male volunteers for your mentoring program can be challenging. This interactive working session will assist participants in developing targeted recruitment plans and implementing effective strategies to engage more men in their mentoring programs – and to keep them there long-term!
