Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada Completes Evaluation to Strengthen In-School Mentoring (ISM) Program

In 2013, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada launched a large evaluation project to strengthen their ‘Adult In-School Mentoring’ Program.  This program provides mentors to students with all of the match activities taking place in school.  After reviewing the literature and testing various modifications to the existing structure, the project has now concluded.  Please follow this link www.bigbrothersbigsisters.ca/ISMevolution to review the extensive material including: an Executive Summary that summarizes the process and findings; four documents that outline the changes that were tested; and two final evaluation reports which detail the statistics generated and reviewed by the participating Big Brothers Big Sister agencies.
