For more than 50 years Junior Achievement of Southern Alberta (JASA) has been engaging local business and community leaders in its mission to help students develop an entrepreneurial attitude, a solid and practical understanding of business and finance and a commitment to community. Junior Achievement of Southern Alberta reaches nearly 23,000 students annually with 1,500 dedicated business volunteers. Junior Achievement is the link between education and the world of work by giving youth the confidence and knowledge they need to define personal success, enhance their workforce readiness and pursue their dreams. JASA is currently offering volunteer opportunities for in-school elementary and middle school deliveries. Girls Incorporated of Northern Alberta is a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold. We provide girls 6 to 18 years old with the knowledge and skills needed to break free from gender stereotypes, create social change, be proud of who they are and be confident in their own skin. Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta serves communities all over the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, and has partnership agreements with organizations throughout Western Canada to deliver programs and positively influence girls’ lives.
