Indigenous Mentoring Webinar
Teena Starlight has been the National Director of IYMP with Ever Active Schools since November 2022 and an educator since 1999 working for Calgary Board of Education, Kainai Board of Education and Tsuut’ina Department of Education, and Mount Royal University (MRU). During her years as a teacher, Teena Starlight has promoted Indigenous Ways of Knowing into her teaching practices. She has a passion for creating, sharing, and implementing land-based learning opportunities to foster health and well-being for students.
