The Bow Valley Mentoring Program is a school based mentoring program offered in Banff and Canmore at the Banff Elementary School the Banff Community High School and Canmore Colleigate. The program offers a great opportunity for adults to get to know a child or youth in the community.
As a mentor you will spend one hour a week, during school hours with your mentee. Time is spent together in the school, talking, cooking, or playing games. Go out for coffee, or try a range of activities you are both interested in. You don’t need to offer a specific skill, just offer your time!
The Bow Valley Mentoring Program is brought to you by Town of Banff/Canmore Family and Community Support Services in partnership with the Canadian Rockies Public School Division.
The Bow Valley Mentoring Program has been developed with the support of the Alberta Mentoring Foundation for Youth.
