SUMMARY:Trauma-Informed Approaches to Evaluation: Lessons, Reflections, Advice
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nJoin the Decolonial Evaluation Learning (DEL) team for our mini-series on different approaches to evaluation with a focus on practice-oriented and reflective conversations with experts in the field: “Approaches to Evaluation Lessons, Reflections, Advice”.\n\nThis session is facilitated by Three Hive Consulting, we will explore what it means to incorporate trauma-informed principles into evaluation. Together, we’ll examine lessons learned from the field, key reflections on creating safer and responsive evaluation spaces, and practical advice for those who are navigating the ongoing learning-to-practice journey. This session is part of our broader commitment to providing decolonial perspectives and learning opportunities that challenge traditional evaluation frameworks, and focus more on centering community voice, relational accountability, and cultural safety. Participants will gain insight from Shelby and her team into how trauma-informed and decolonial approaches can strengthen relationships, share experiences and knowledges, and foster trust. Whether you’re new to this work or deepening your practice, this webinar will offer a space for reflection, connection, and continued growth towards more responsive and respectful evaluation practices.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister Here ( https://ualberta-ca.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_H6CEEy2FRleQnMJiIrY62g#/registration )\n\n\n\n
