Mental-Health-Awareness-Week-2014-Alberta

Mental Health Awareness Week (MHW) was introduced in 1951 by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) to raise awareness of mental illness in Canada. Today, the MHW provides practical ways people can maintain and improve their mental health and support their recovery from mental illness. The MHW also provides an opportunity for all Canadians to reflect on their attitudes and behaviours towards those licing with mental health issues as we work to reduce discrimination and stigma associated with mental health problems [CMHA]
