Wellness Resiliency and Partnerships (WRaP)

WRAP - Wellness Resiliency and Partnerships
The Wellness, Resiliency and Partnership (WRaP) program was developed in 2009 as a response to the Cross Ministry Committee’s 10 Year Strategic Plan for FASD in the province of Alberta. WRaP currently partners with 10 school authorities and 2 FASD service providers to offer formal and informal mentoring to students with an FASD.
Youth Success Coaches work 1:1 or with groups of students, their families, schools and communities to provide wrap around supports for success of the student.
Data suggests that students with an FASD that have the support of a WRaP Success Coach are achieving success in goal setting in areas of academics, community and school engagement and social, emotional and physical wellbeing.
