Cornerstone Youth Centre

Cornerstone Youth Centre is a place where the community’s junior high youth can come to find solace from whatever issues that life may be dealing them. They can be assured that they will be greeted by friendly staff and volunteers who are willing to lend an ear and can be positive role models. Youth will find numerous fun activities to do and will be able to build relationships with other youth, the staff and volunteers. The centre is a place where youth are encouraged to be themselves and discover their passion and potential. Cornerstone Youth Centre is located in Mayland Heights in North East Calgary.

Classroom Connections Consulting Services

Classroom Connections Consulting Services develops unique educational programs and works outside the box to increase learning success and promote educational change. From award-winning resources to on-the-ground programs in First Nations communities, Classroom Connections integrates and promotes new approaches to learning.
Classroom Connections is currently seeking mentors in the Edmonton area for their MentorNation initiative. MentorNation supports Aboriginal entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency. Mentors will work with First Nations startups from the Change it Up! Entrepreneur program in Samson Cree Nation. Mentors will provide business advice, support, and encouragement to help entrepreneurs remain focused on what is important for the success of their business. Visit www.mentornation.ca for details.
